Our story

From Julia's kitchen to a very loud red truck

The dough came first. Our recipe traces back to Julia Cox, who grew up cooking New Mexican food with her grandmothers in Chilili, NM, and spent years feeding people through her own kitchens. In October 2018, her kids did what any reasonable family would do with a perfect sopapilla recipe: painted a trailer fire-engine red, covered it in band stickers, and took it on the road.

Today Stuffed Lust is a proudly woman-owned food truck and catering company based in Bernalillo, serving sopapillas stuffed with everything from rib eye to tofu, smothered in red, green, or Christmas, with a playlist that goes as hard as the chile.
